1. Solar panels
Solar panels are the central part of solar street lamps and the most valuable part of solar street lamps. Its function is to convert the sun's radiation capacity into electricity, or send to storage batteries for storage. In many solar cells more widespread and more useful are monocrystalline silicon solar cells, polycrystalline silicon solar cells and amorphous silicon solar cells. In the eastern and western regions with good sunlight, it is better to choose polycrystalline silicon solar cells. Because the production process of polycrystalline silicon solar cells is relatively simple, the price is lower than that of single crystal. In the southern region where there are more rainy days and less sunlight, it is better to choose monocrystalline silicon solar cells, because the functional parameters of monocrystalline silicon solar cells are relatively stable. Amorphous silicon solar cells are better in the absence of outdoor sunlight, because amorphous silicon solar cells have a relatively low requirement for solar illumination conditions.
2. Solar energy controller
No matter the size of solar lamps, a functional outstanding charge and discharge controller is indispensable. In order to extend the life of the battery, it is necessary to constrain its charging and discharging conditions, to avoid overcharging and depth charging of the battery. In the place of large temperature difference, the qualified controller should also have the function of temperature compensation. Together, the solar controller should have the function of street lamp control, with the function of light control and time control, and should have the function of automatic cutting control load at night, which is convenient to extend the working time of street lamp in rainy days.
3. Battery
Because the input energy of solar photovoltaic power generation system is extremely unstable, the general demand is equipped with battery system talent operation. Generally have lead acid battery, Ni-Cd battery, Ni-H battery. The selection of battery capacity generally follows the following criteria: First of all, under the premise of satisfying night lighting, the energy of the solar cell module in the day should be stored as far as possible, and the energy of the lighting needs of continuous cloudy and rainy nights should also be stored satisfactorily. Battery capacity is too small to satisfy the needs of night lighting, battery is too large, on the one hand, the battery has been in the situation of power loss, affect the battery life, together to form a waste. The battery should match the solar cell and the electricity load (street lamp). The connection between them can be ascertained in a simple way. Solar cell power needs to be more than 4 times higher than the load power, the system can operate normally. The voltage of the solar cell should exceed the operating voltage of the battery by 20~30% in order to ensure the normal negative charge of the battery. The battery capacity should be at least 6 times higher than the daily consumption of the load.
4. LED light source
